Ph.D. Engineering. Curator and historian of architecture. Since 2024, registrar, 21st Century Museum, Kanazawa. Previously worked as an intern, Canadian Centre for Architecture, Assistant Curator at the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; Director at Meguro Architecture Laboratory Co., Ltd.; and Research Associate at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University. In 2014, he participated in the Japan Pavilion at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition – Venice Biennale. In 2020, he curated 100 Years of BUNRIHA: Can Architecture Be Art? His publications include Critical words for contemporary architecture (Film Art, Inc. 2022) and HOLZ BAU──Timber Architecture in the Early Modern Period of Germany (TOTO, 2022). He was in charge of a renovation project of the former Honjo Commercial Bank Brick Warehouse in Honjo, originally constructed in 1896.

建築史家、金沢21世紀美術館レジストラー。博士（工学）。1986年東京生まれ。メグロ建築研究所取締役、早稲田大学建築学科助手、京都国立近代美術館特定研究員、文化庁在外芸術家研修員としてCanadian Centre for Architecture（CCA）に滞在を経て、現職。2024年より「建築討論」編集長。建築作品に「旧本庄商業銀行煉瓦倉庫」（福島加津也+冨永祥子建築設計事務所と協働、2017年改修）、編著書に『クリティカル・ワード 現代建築』（フィルムアート、2022年）、『ホルツ・バウ 近代初期ドイツ木造建築』（TOTO出版、2022年）など。キュレーションした展覧会に「第14回ベネチアビエンナーレ日本館」（2014年）、「分離派建築会100年 建築は芸術か?」（2020年）など。
